Fast and dirty game log
It's Sunday, August 2nd. Since last Sunday, I have:
Hosted a Stonetop Session 0
Played Sag River
Almost played a Traveller one shot but was deemed "too eepy" by royal decree
Played Star Marauders (they call me the Messi of Void Crabs)
Played Open Quest (did a bunch of cool barbarian stuff)
I also went to the Renaissance Festival here in [none of your beeswax?!] and worked a little bit (but not at the fair), with helped offset the Ren Fair treats I bestowed upon myself and my friends. I had fun there and people watched a lot to gather inspiration for fantasy game characters. It never occurred to me that fantasy cosplayers and SCA re-enactors would be such helpful representations of what knights, ladies, Conans, witches, etc. of different sizes and shapes walk and move around like. I did ask for a photo from one woman because I thought she'd make a great Lightbearer. I would also like to give a shout out to all the beleaguered and tired cosplayers who put into perspective what an exhausted adventurer looks like. Just a little more dirt and you're perfect...
